Welcome to Shepparton Medical Centre
The Shepparton Medical Centre (SMC) was established in 2010, the first purpose-built, multidisciplinary teaching clinic in Australia, created to increase the quality and capacity of medical education in a rural setting.
Since its inception, SMC has been facilitating the wellbeing of our patients and students by focusing on patient-centred care and outstanding clinical education. We deliver approximately 40,000 services to patients each year and support the community in a number of ways including participating in the Doctors in Secondary Schools Program, servicing Residential Aged Care Facilities and contributing to primary care, impact research.
